1. Why YouTube Videos Should Be Included as Part of Your Marketing Plan
  • Invitation YouTube has matured to become an important part of today's new media landscape, especially when it comes to developing your marketing plan. YouTube provides a valuable medium for companies, including yours, to showcase products and services at no cost.
  • YouTube’s latest demographics might surprise you in that, according to ComScore.com, 25 percent of YouTube users have a household income of more than $100,000 a year, and 44 percent of YouTube users are between 35 and 54 years old.
  • With these numbers, you might want to consider YouTube as the perfect place to upload a promotional video or your company's TV commercial.

2. Cattle Call Ritual Ends: Now You Can Actually Reserve That Spot In Line

  • Traveling with Southwest Airlines in November? Expect confusion as Southwest changes a “passenger ritual” that’s been going on since the birth of the airline. Passengers will no longer have to herd to get in line at the gate and then stand there, grazing, for 35-60 minutes.
  • The new change means that, instead of rushing to get a spot in line, passengers will be assigned a letter-number combination on their boarding pass. When the gate agent calls a boarding group, passengers will then get up and take their place in line in numerical order.

3. Ready to Start an Online Advertising Campaign? Here’s Where to Start

  • We believe the best place to start targeting your audience online might be your local TV station’s Web site. Recently, TV stations have put a new energy into their Web sites by adding videos, updating newscasts and enhancing weather information services with enhanced and real-time graphics
  • These efforts have paid off, as the local stations garnered large numbers of users to their Web sites. According to The Media Audit, as a national average, 27 percent of U.S. online adults have visited their local TV stations’ Web sites in the last 30 days. In some markets, more than half of the adult online population has visited their local TV stations’ Web sites.

4. The 60 Second Close: Entering the New Media Frontier

  • It can be a little intimidating to venture out into the new media frontier, especially with so many options to choose from and the arduous task of separating the hype from the fact.
  • The one truth that continues to be upon us is that viewing, listening and reading habits have changed, and your target audience might not be as easily found this year as it was in previous years. This means you might need a completely new strategy to find it.
  • We can help carefully and methodically walk you through this new territory and avoid costly pitfalls. When you’re ready, then call us. We can help you get there … faster than ever.
