Franchise
A struggling economy does not necessarily mean a struggling franchise industry. In fact, this $1.53 trillion business can be a fresh, new alternative for those working in a downtrodden economy.1 The newest trend: making the franchise dream into a reality, while still holding onto a steady income in the franchise’s developmental years.
As baby boomers age and move into retirement, a new world of possible ventures opens up to franchisees. This aging demographic will need require many non-medical services. Pet care is another area to watch. Consumers who focus on pampering their animals are becoming more and more prevalent. Franchises that specialize in this area will see a continuing increase in business over the next few years. 2
“Green businesses” surpass all of the trends to watch in the coming years. Using environmentally safe products and eliminating those that are not (for example, the removal of plastic foam cups in restaurants) are becoming commonplace. Another new trend: franchise concepts that specialize in the mental and physical health of children. 3
At AXIA, we recognize that understanding your business, researching the industry and its trends, and realizing the steps needed to keep you on top are critical to the success of a franchise. This is why we are dedicated to doing the same.
